This year Father's day was also National Aboriginal Day which is always on Summer Solstice. There is a long standing tradition of a Hamar Mountain trip via Canadian Helicopters. Some people hike one direction and then fly the other. We flew both ways.

This is the kids getting in the van to head to Canadian Helicopters to get ready.

The "helper" up the mountain (a Canadian Helicopter's employee) took a family photo, but Derek didn't want to be in the photo.

I've just started blogging1 Your kids look cute. I haven't got any (yet) but I've been married for seven years, to my very first boyfriend! We kind of got together at school, broke up when he left to go to college, and then got together again. My mum keeps dropping hints about grandchildren. I wouldn't mind if they looked as sweet as yours. I wonder if they're as angelic as they look?
not even a bit. They are perfectly their age, selfish and loving, they love to play together and fight constantly.
